A friend of mine who operates a stock photography agency in Atlanta
sent this to me and I thought I'd pass it on. I don't spend much time
at YouTube, but now and then there are gems. I think you'll get a kick
out of this. It's a 3:41 video (safe for viewing by all ages). For
those of us photographing digitally, it might make another point as
well.

I mentioned in my class last night that I've thought about not teaching
photography classes anymore because I'm encouraging the competition
(several of my students have gone on to full time photo work). But, I
like it, so I'll keep doing it. I'm also going to start talking a
little bit about business to these beginners. With the increased ease
of entry into the marketplace for amateurs, the right information at
the right time might make the difference.

So, let me get this straight Mike . . . you think this digital thing is
really going to catch on do you? Hmmm, guess I better saddle up the mule in
the morning and head on down to the ol' general store to see if they got any
of them digital things.

Thanks fer the insights

p.s. actually I loved it and it should be required "brainwashing" for all
those out there who think that digital "everything" is the second coming.
